~ Sodom ~

Walls of Jericho became pillars of salt
I always wanted to see Jerusalem
But Gomorrah stood in the way

~ Modern Relics ~

To lift vestiges from a cemetery
Is to confiscate dental artifacts
From entombed patients mouths

Each tooth is an art object
Preserved untold millenniums
A proof of our carnivorous issue

I organize, I catalog them
And build my genealogy
Like a card castle ivory tower

Ivory and gold fangs are tusks
That forage eons back
Into our evolutionary carnality

~ [My] Moon in [your] Venus~

When Sun conjuncts Mars
Moon blots Venus and
unicorned Capricorn oscillates
portending swelled future
between grace & diplomacy

Wolf Moon orbs Veneris Mons
every twenty-eight moons.
Harvests pink manna
before new Moon voids
at 0:54am
