Skipping School
 
Move near, even closer,
and settle against my breasts,
into the bend of my embrace.
Outside, winter's
breath exerts force
as cool daylight surrounds us.

Stillness.
Hold this moment
before we unwrap ourselves
and plunge into
the unknown.

Hold me close,
kiss my hair,
own my ear
and remind me,
again,
of how you came
to find me.
