~ Bermuda Triangle ~ You did not send me there but I’ve been nibbling at its gold-dipped spines in spite of Verlaine's itch. Lips to lips reciprocate our bloody inkblots and my knees crawl towards the Black Virgin's furry arrow. On my tongue virtual prayers form mesmerizing speeches that uncannily resemble the Sermon on the Mount. They spell us into us blending South and North. But I am into 3D modernity, know all about XYZ and nearly everything about high art and wilted petals spilt in the city gutters. There, between alien confluents, I spiel with Rimbaud and spill my spleen into Sargasso seas. Alexander Nodopaka 2005 ~ A Full Life ~ Forget about the atomic half-life of paint. Apply the cheap kind and fade together. To grow wrinkles in concert will not show the cumulative haphazard signs of aging. Our choices are to live up to the potentials of a full life and reap the rewards of odors that will kill us or live a stifling existence of uncompleted paint jobs and procrastination. Alex Nodopaka 2005 ~ Immaculate Chemistry ~ Spick and span is the concept of being in love with love. It has little to do with how our molecules are arranged or disarranged by the constant motion of our carnal tussles. Love consists in the prolonged moments of silence between our words and trials and the ensuing limbos that force us to wait for our atoms to re-enter the vacuum they first abandoned. We are left with the lingua franca memory of our demotic eloquence and faded explicit pictographs. Alex Nodopaka 2005 ![]() |
